Bold Celtic

Refillable X Large Sketchbook

“Sketching is a continuous source of learning rather than a string of performances.” Paul Laseau

Celtic spirituality came out of Ireland. “Celt” comes from the Greek term for “Secret People”, since little was known of them. They were highly advanced in iron making. Women had the same status as men and were known to go nude into battle to discomfort the enemies. These people were governed by how people and things were connected. They were guided by inspiration.
The sketchbook measures 9 1/8 x 11 5/8 inches. It has 220 pages, 8.5 x 11 inches, with a lined template sheet to facilitate writing. The cover is constructed by using three pieces of leather. Tooling appears on the front because the spine piece makes wrapping images impossible. The backside is a piece of durable, long-lasting black leather. It has a matching pewter button closure.
